Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, the Sarnia-Lambton Newcomer Hub is a community-wide initiative designed to support Permanent Residents with practical tools, real-world connections, and confidence-building activities. Whether you’re searching for your first Canadian job, exploring entrepreneurship, or looking to grow your professional network, we’re here to support you through four core pillars
The Dante Club
The Dante Club began in 1958 with a small group of newly arrived Italian immigrants. The club offers hall rentals and hosts cultural event.
Sarnia Muslim Association
The Sarnia Muslim Association was founded in 1979 to provide facilities and an environment to practice the Muslim faith. The association holds cultural events and Arabic classes.
Sarnia Newcomers Club
The Sarnia Newcomers Club is a women’s club established in 1973 for those new to the Sarnia-Lambton community. The club meets monthly at the Lawrence House.
Portuguese Canadian Club of Sarnia
The Portuguese Canadian Club of Sarnia has over 50 members and holds festivals and dances throughout the year.
St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of Sarnia & Vicinity
St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of Sarnia & Vicinity offers cultural events, youth programming, a women’s group, and Greek language classes.

The Centre Culturel Francophone Jolliet offers cultural and entertainment programs and community services for French speaking residents of Sarnia-Lambton.
India-Canada Association of Sarnia
The India-Canada Association of Sarnia began in 1972 as a non-religious social group open to all members of the community. Membership includes over 100 families.
