Hospitals & Emergencies

Bluewater Health is a 326-bed community hospital that cares for the residents of Sarnia-Lambton from 2 sites located in Sarnia and Petrolia.

Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital (CEEH) of Bluewater Health is located in the town of Petrolia and serves the needs of rural Lambton through a mix of acute care (including emergency, inpatient and ambulatory care) and continuing care services.

In Sarnia, Bluewater Health provides continuing care, palliative, rehabilitation, obstetrics, and surgery along with key support services such as human resources and facilities management.

Community Health Centres

Community Health Centres (CHCs) provide health care services (both primary care and health promotion programs) for registered clients. A team of physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers, dietitians and other health care professionals provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and referral to other services when required. Community Health Centres are not walk-in clinics. To access services at a CHC, there is an application process.
