Primary & Secondary
The publicly funded school system in Ontario provides education for students from junior kindergarten through to grade 12. There are several selections available including Public schools and Catholic schools.
In addition, in Sarnia-Lambton, schooling may be taken in French or English.
Public School Boards
Lambton-Kent District School Board provides educational services to more than thirty elementary and seven secondary schools.
Conseil Scolaire De District Du Centre-Sud-Ouest provides French-language education in over thirty-seven schools at elementary and secondary levels within Ontario.
Catholic School Boards
St. Clair Catholic District School Board provides Catholic education in 30 elementary and three secondary schools.
Conseil Scolaire De District Des Écoles Catholiques Du Sud-Ouest (Providence Catholic School Board) provides French-language catholic education in twenty-one elementary schools, six secondary schools and a combined school from kindergarten to Grade 12 in Ontario.

Private Career Colleges
There are a number of private career colleges and trade schools in Sarnia-Lambton that provide students the opportunity to learn a new profession or trade:
5th Wheel Training Institute offers Heavy Equipment, Driving Class AZ and DZ training. Its programs prepare students to work in a variety of sectors.
Can-Weld Training And Testing Centre
Can-Weld Training and Testing Centre offers welding training programs and is accredited by the Central Welding Board for Technical Standards and Safety Authority testing.
Flight Centre offers Transport Canada approved courses to become a Commercial Pilot. Other courses include Instructor, Instrument, Multi-Engine, and Float Ratings.
